Sex and drugs and stand up comedy! Dangerfield was the god of stand up. A couple of weeks following I saw this I was in a bar and a patron and the bartender were discussing whether or not he was nonetheless alive, and having seen this I was able to interject proudly that I had just seen him and he was certainly nonetheless with us. A few months later he wasn’t although. This may possibly be the final interview, although checking IMBD he was on Kimmel? in August, but I never ever knew Kimmel was even on back then. Anyway this is nonetheless cool.

@greenwich1754 Young people are very ignorant these days. I’m 30, but at age 13 I knew who Charlie Chaplin, Groucho, Helen Hayes, Isadora Duncan, Marlon Brando….I knew who these people were. This generation actually seems to think that everything that has happened in the past is the culmination to THEM. LOL.

@xhellonhighheels69x I was thinking the same thing, but it’s amazing how quickly we forget the past. I’m 50, so people like Dean Martin/Johnny Carson are ingrained in my memories. Try mentioning these people to someone who’s 22, and they give the blank stare. I’d hate to be here 40 years from now to have to say “for those of you who do not remember Lady Gaga” (not that I care!).

It was odd, but nice to hear him tell stories instead of rapid-fire one-liners. But I do like his one-liners. He was probably the coolest guy ever; I was sad to hear he had died.
